How to install IPTV on any device

Before you begin

Installation is quick, but a couple of minutes of preparation makes it foolproof. Have your login details to hand (we send these on WhatsApp), make sure your device is connected to the internet, and ideally position it close to the router or use a wired connection for 4K.

The universal three-step process

Whatever your device, IPTV setup follows the same simple pattern. The only thing that changes is how you install the app.

1. 1Install an IPTV player app (from the device's store, or by sideloading on Firestick).
2. 2Open the app and choose 'Xtream Codes login' or 'Add playlist'.
3. 3Enter the details we provide and let the channels and guide load.

Device-specific installation overview

Amazon Firestick (most popular in UAE homes)

Firestick is the most common IPTV device in Dubai and Sharjah apartments. You sideload the player using the Downloader app after enabling Apps from Unknown Sources in Settings. We send the exact download code and step-by-step screens on WhatsApp. A Firestick 4K Max handles 4K sport well; older sticks may need the FHD feed for heavy channels.

Samsung and LG smart TVs

These TVs use MAC-linked apps like Smart IPTV or SS IPTV. You install the app from the TV's store, note the MAC address displayed on screen, and send it to us on WhatsApp. We attach your playlist to that MAC — usually within minutes. No username or password to type on the remote.

Android TV, Google TV, Sony, and NVIDIA Shield

The easiest route: install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro directly from the Google Play Store, enter Xtream Codes login, done. Shield and newer Sony Google TVs handle 4K with ease. Prefer Ethernet for the most stable sport streams.

MAG, Formuler, and dedicated IPTV boxes

Enter the portal URL we provide in the box's settings, then share the MAC address for authorisation. Formuler boxes with MyTVOnline 2 offer a polished experience with excellent EPG support.

Phones, tablets, and computers

Install from the App Store, Play Store, or our desktop link. Useful for testing during a free trial or watching on the go within the UAE. Mobile data works but home Wi-Fi or fibre is better for HD and 4K.

Device-specific quirks to know

• Firestick: you must enable 'Apps from Unknown Sources' and use the Downloader app to sideload the player.
• Samsung & LG: these use MAC-linked apps — you send us the MAC address shown in the app so we can attach your playlist.
• Android TV / Google TV / Sony / Shield: install straight from the Play Store, the easiest route of all.
• MAG / Formuler: enter a portal URL in the box's settings and share the MAC address for authorisation.
• Phones, tablets & computers: install from the App Store, Play Store or our desktop link and log in.
• Apple TV: use a compatible player from the App Store; we send the recommended app and login type.

First-run tips for smooth playback

1. 1Let the EPG (guide) finish downloading fully on first launch — it can take a minute.
2. 2Create favourite groups (Sports, Arabic, Movies) so you're not scrolling thousands of channels.
3. 3If a 4K stream stutters, switch to the FHD feed or set the decoder to Hardware (HW).
4. 4Restart the device once installed to clear any setup cache.
5. 5Set the EPG time zone to GMT+4 (Gulf Standard Time) for correct UAE program times.

When to move on to setup and troubleshooting
